Job description

Membrane Waterproofing
Auckland

Small flat roof area on 1980s townhouse. Historic leaking around scupper . Water pools adjacent to scupper and leaks have been previously repaired with membrane paint and sealers which has raised the level of the drain and has led to more pooling. Now failed again. Scope to drop the level of the a replacement scupper by removing part of a wooden lintle ( approx 15mm tall ) which is sitting on a metal beam. This has been done as shown in the photos. Requires removal of flashing , new scupper installation and new sealing to existing torch on membrane.

TERRIBLE RESULT OVERALL. Initial work and presentation was more less acceptable but the sealer paint finish did not set and cure. It was difficult to get a response but eventually another paint applied which had the same issues. Since then NO RESPONSE to multiple polite text messages and e-mails. It is a failed job and responsibility not taken. I now have to organise another contractor. Lack of accountability is DISAPPOINTING and INEXCUSABLE in my book.
