Fix for flooding garage / check external drain

The garage at my house has been flooding for a long time, whenever there is very heavy rain. It seems that the water is running down the driveway above and into the garage. Althogh it is possible that the water is getting in from the other sides also. There is a drain just outside the garage that may be blocked. I would like this checked. If it turns out that the drain is clear, I would like a suggestion on what else could be done to prevent flooding in the garage in the future.

Things started off well. They even phoned me up in Australia to discuss the job which I appreciated. The next day after the job was done I was eager to know if they had discovered any blockages in my drains. Despite me asking 3 seperate times, my request for a simple report of how the job went were ignored. The only message I got back was "i'll send you the invoice"! I wasn't after a 10 page report or anything like that, but surely a tiny amount of feedback isn't too much to expect?
