The positive pressure system, such as the well known DVS and HRV systems, will cost between $3,600 and $6,500 for a four bedroom home, whereas the balanced pressure system will cost between $4,800 and $9,100 for the same space. A heat pump for the system will cost a further $2,900 to $4,300 on top of that.

Smaller jobs, especially where you have already bought the vent kit yourself from the hardware store, will come in at a cheaper price. As with all tradies, get the ventilation specialist to come and inspect your home and circumstances before they prepare a quote for you.
