Need to have kitchen fan ducted outside to meet rental standard. Not much ducting distance involved but roof pitch is fairly shallow so some physical flexibility needed. I want to install a single duct heat transfer system between the ground floor lounge and 1st floor lobby. A flexible duct would run from a wall mounted inlet grill in the 1st floor lobby to a ceiling mounted outlet grill in the ground floor lounge. The duct will run within a wardrobe and pass through a timber floor, it will have an inline fan. I will arrange the electrical work and can supply the parts if necessary. We had a rat get into our roof and chewed up the extractor aluminium venting. We've had pest control eliminate the rat problem, but the ducting needs replacement. I don't think it can be repaired, but you can tell me if it can be repaired. It looks like quite a lot the rat/rats chewed through :( The roof is easy to access and walk around in.
