I have an older weatherboard house where the attic is heating up during the hot summer days and the house is retaining alot of the heat into the evening. I already have a 2 heatpump solutions, so all I need is a way for the heat to be pushed out of the roof cavity when it gets above a certain temperature. I do not want to cut any holes in the roof, as its literally just been replaced with fresh coloursteel. Im thinking a vent on one of the gables and a Fan setup that can be paired with a Smart Plug & Smart Temp gauge that can instantly turn on and pump the hot air out of the attic until it drops back down to an acceptable temp. Theres already power in the attic, so im thinking I need an attractive exterior vent, and then a 240v fan system that can be mounted at high as possible and ducted to the exterior vent.
