Duct rangewood to the exterior of property

Hi, We will be renting a unit, after a healthy homes inspection it was detected that the rangehood it is exiting to the ceiling cavity and we need that corrected. The sofit where the exterior ventilation grill needs to be installed is on the other side of the wall where the rangehood is installed. The work is to provide a ventilation grill, cut the sofit to fit (no mess please), put the ventilation grill in place, and connect the existing rangehood duct to it. The roof cavity has ceiling insulation, it will need to be taken a bit out above the sofit where the hole will be made and put back, just noting for you to have all details. The quote is to carry out the work and provide the ventilation grill. If it makes it easier I can buy the ventilation grill and the work will be just for installation (refer that in the quote).
