[Urgent] bathroom fan exterior wall vent replace and repair

It seems like the birds broke the vent grill on the exterior wall. Our house is two storage, the vent grill is at the level one where is too high for us to fix it for ourselves. Also, the birds seem to tend to build their nest in the ducting, so that we need it to be fixed urgently! We keen to hear your advise on picking a new type of vent grill for the replacement as well to avoid this situation in future. We know it could be a small job, but we really need your help here!
