Bathroom is about 2m x 3m. Electrics done. Plumber being arranged then this job - to be waterproofed and floor & half-wall tiled. Shower has plastic walls. I have tiles, underlay etc. Estimate 7m2 floor using 600x300mm and 7-8m2 on the walls using 400x200mm. Bath sides to be tiled. This job is for w/c 28th July. Has to be certified. There was one day I expected someone to turn up and they didn't, and I thought $100 was unexpected, but both were possibly due to my mistakes. It was a busy time and leo helped enormously by shifting the job along. The tiling was very well done. The waterproofing seemed a bit slapdash. The plastering was good. I had to clear all the stuff away at the end but we'd not discussed that so that's OK. I couldn't speak mandarin/Cantonese so couldn't communicate easily with the folks doing the work, but they did the work well. They did use any and all materials of mine lying around including glue etc and the bill wasn't adjusted so sort that out up front. I think that's the main thing - get an agreement of what's to be done but don't go overboard on it either as I think leo might mind that difficult to work to. I'd ask leo to work another job, no question.
