Entranceway and laundry tiling

My entranceway, laundry and hall are in desperate need of a spruce up! As is obvious from the attached photos, the tiles are cracked and the carpet worn. I estimate the area to be in the 8 - 11 square meter mark. We have not yet chosen any tiles and would rely a little on your expertise to advise, although we are willing to shop around if need be. In terms of colour, the photo showing the bathroom gives some indication (unless you have better ideas!).

Glenn’s attention to detail and truly professional workmanship is absolutely top-notch, clearly showing the high level of experience he has. It’s been a pleasure to have him come and work at our place. His relaxed manner, excellent communication, and flexibility with the details of the job have made him a pleasure to deal with and I’d certainly get him back again should I need any further tiling done.
