My house is part of a two-unit side-by-side construction on a sloping property. Original construction was in 1974 with concrete block foundation that has been modified to convert a foundation level garage into living space back in the 70’s. I seems to me that the house is subsiding as there are cracks in the exterior concrete block work and the floors in the house are way off level. I am seeking advice as to whether this is a foundation problem due to the site the house is constructed on and whether remedial work is required.
