INSTALL SUN TUNNEL

We have one solar tunnel to install through an iron roof, wooden ceiling and into the bathroom (jib ceiling) The roof pitch is approximately 45 degrees. We have a sun tunnel from bunnings, recommended by our builder to suit our roof pitch. We live in Kaukapakapa :) No rush just keen to book someone in for the near year sometime. Thanks

Flashing was replaced twice as first time there was worse leaking due to poor repair job. Now leaking which appears to be from either damaged building paper or gap in building paper on one side - right top in photo. Leak only happens when cold and happens above window and whether there is any condensation inside or not. Quote on lifting the flashing and repairing building paper and also opinion on whether flashing can be lifted again without further damage to it or already possibly damaged roof...

I had two Velux fixed skylights installed on a 15 degree pitch metal decremastic tile roof just under 3 years ago. The skylights gave me no issue for about a year, but then we started to get drips coming through our raked tongue & groove ceiling. The original issue, as I understand it, is that leaves and debris have gotten in, under and all around where the skylight flashing up-end meets the cut tile edge, which has gaps of anywhere between 1mm to 10mm. A company installed 2 other skylights, which took them a couple of hours, and they are awesome. However, we need one in the study and their prices have gone through the roof!
