Pool Pump Shed Needs Additions

The shed that houses our pool pump was built with a pretty low roof. The clearance isn't much above the pool pump. To remove the pump filter cartridge, you need to take off the cover vertically, which is impossible due to how they've built the shed. We're open to suggestions as to how to best solve this.
