Intercom doorbell not working

I have a visual intercom doorbell installed in my house (unsure of the brand/company). If someone presses the the doorbell button outside then the doorbell will ring and the intercom screen located in the lounge area will turn on showing the persons face. However recently the doorbell has stopped ringing and the visual intercom system has stopped working altogether.
