Roof maintenance

I have a big two-story house in Khandallah, Wellington. The building itself is almost 20 years old, and for sure the tiled roof requires a bit of attention every now and then. We have occasional problems where part of the edge of the roof falls-off (a tile falls off due to high winds etc) and we would like to get rid of this problem - probably by bolting the edge or anything that can make it stronger/stays in place. And in the foreseeable future we also wants to do roof cleaning, so it will be a continuous job.
