Our 1970's 2 unit property has older smaller capacity downpipes resulting in water spilling over the guttering as flow isn't maximised. Current pipes are: 70mm wide x 55mm depth (rectangle). I believe it has a cross sectional area of 38.5 square centimetres. I believe the normal down pipe for residential houses is 80 centimetres diameter, which has a cross sectional area of 50 square centimetres. There is available a rectangular down pipe 10x5 centimetres which has a cross sectional area of 50 square centimetres (the same as the round down pipe). The new downpipe must fit into the profile of our current spouting. Please see photos showing: -Street front of house, 1 long (2 story) downpipe on left from roof to basement, 1 (1 story) pipe in middle of the building from roof to first floor. -Back of house 2 sections of downpipe. Please provide quotation. Thank you.
