Fix our roof

Job description

Metal Roof Leaks & Repair
Wellington

Published: 17 May 2015

We have a couple spots in our lounge roof that leak about once a year (weather dependent). The roof is made of decromastic tiles. We've had a few 'patch' jobs done over the last few years but they haven't sorted the problem completely & we'd like this fixed for good! We've had a quote from a roofer that included the following: 1) Remove tiles from top down to where it is currently leaking. Max 30m2 quoted for. 2) Replace tiles with new. 3) Replace ridge and barge flashings. 4) Patch paper if required. 5) Replace damaged chip board in lounge ceiling in two places. We'd like to get a quote from another roofer for the same work listed above, so we can compare quotes. This roofer who gave us the quote was also willing to stop if he found an obvious leak before replacing all the tiles (i.e. 30m2) & credit back the difference, and we'd like someone who'd be willing to do that also.
