Roof bodge-up

I have a leak (assumed roof as piece of ridge cap is missing) that is coming into the kitchen ceiling in a rental property. I have future plans to deal to the roof properly, but am looking for someone to do a quick bodge up (section of ridge cap/ heaps of silicone/tar tape whatever) to keep the tenants dry until September or so when I'll do a full re-screw etc. 2 storey house with a reasonably steep pitch. One of those annoying small jobs but Im out of town, and need some help. Would be ideal for someone in the area to do a cheeky half day fix when the weather co operates.
