Kia ora, The building report of the house we purchased in Nov of last year identified a few weather-proofing needs for our corrugated metal roof and associated areas (fascia, soffit eaves and gutters) that we would like to have done. It mostly mentions the need to repaint the fascia and the soffit eaves to prevent degradation, but also identified a few areas of rust/lichen on the roof that need treatment, and some nails that need removing and replacing with something rust-proof. The roof may well need a repaint by now too, as the report mentions that was last done in 2010. We aren't in any particular rush and don't have special considerations that we are aware of at this time, but would like it done before the end of the year if possible. House is 200m2 and on a slope, so one end is ground floor level, while the other is two storeys up. Attached images are from the building report, completed in Oct of last year. Thank you.
