Repair rusted roof over kitchen overhang

The roof over our kitchen overhang is starting to rust and needs to be repaired. The kitchen window overhang area extends 64cm out from the wall of the house, and is protected by a sloping roof. The length of the overhang is 304cm. The roof of the overhang extends from below the eaves of the house. There are sloping concrete steps outside underneath the kitchen window.
