Chimney leaking into fireplace

Job description

Metal Roof Leaks & Repair
Glen Eden, Waitakere

Published on 19 July 2024

I've been advised that there are high levels of moisture on one side of my fireplace, and the flue of the inbuilt wood burner is corroded. It is suspected there is a leak in the chimney. I've been told to get the flashing inspected and the minor cracking in the masonry filled and then have the flue seen to. I would prefer to have this be one person doing it all rather than 3 different tradespeople if possible. Pictures below can email full report if needed.

Michael was a pleasure to deal with. He was very clear and confident on what he was going to do to fix the leak around our chimney. The cost was a little more than what I anticipated but needed to get the job asap as new owners were about to move in. The job was delayed due to illness but Michael kept me informed. Overall super happy with the outcome. I highly recommend Michael to all! Andrew and Sandi
