Our roof has started leaking through the ceiling into the room when it rains. I think the leak is in the joint of the flashing. The roof is old but I believe one options is a new wider ridge flashing to prevent the water leaking as the roof is a bit rusty, which will mean the roof is okay for the next 5ish years. Open to suggestions as to what you think is the best option. Would like to get a solution to this leak asap. Only drips through a crack in the ceiling when it rains, drips faster as it rains harder and doesn't drip when its not raining.
