Gutter and trap repair

The gutter join shown in the picture has been a constant issue over many years, and it has been repaired two or three times previously. The house gutter does not drain well to the only two downpipes, and in heavy rain the water washes over the edge of the gutter, as well as through the gutter join. The board behind the gutter is also damaged. The works requested are to: 1. Fix properly the gutter connection, and 2. Repair the board behind the gutter join. We are open to undertaking additional work. When an extension was added to the house, a water tank was installed with a feed from the roof of the extension. If the water tank is full the excess water has a drain from the end of the tank to the house stormwater system. If it is possible to take another connection from the gutter above to this water tank that would help take the water away faster in a downpour and help to keep the tank replenished. We are happy to take responses for just resolving the gutter join, or resolving the gutter join and adding another connection from the gutter to the tank. Trap Repair The trap shown in the photos functions very poorly, when water expels out of the right hand pipes that water hits the lower down pipe and washes out over the front of the trap and a lot of water diverts through the holes to under the house and contributes to flooding. The pipes could possibly be extended further into the trap. We would like the pipes secured in a way that no water overflows through to under the house. While this is being done we’d like the hanging of the pipes in this area under the house checked as one of these pipes separated at a join in the Anniversary Day storm and, although re-connected at the time, has not been re-secured permanently.
