Our single-story house (approximately 315m2) is just over 20 years old and the current asphalt shingle roof is getting tired. It's still watertight but we have been told that it needs extensive repairs, which makes us think a new overlay would be a better option. We are also open to looking at different roofing materials if they would be better in terms of either longevity or cost.
