Leak from capilliary action

We are told an original 7m sheet of longrun was cut down in width without a capilliary-break being formed on the edge. Very occasionally it leaks. Discoveery had got to this point when Covid lockdowns did for the roofer. We want someone to pick up this job, confirm the diagnosis, and either fit a sheet with a properly formed edge or form the edge properly. Colour matching is not essential. Scaffolding will probably be required.
