Remove carport roof for job access

Hi, This is a job to make another job possible. Would like to get some idea whether it will be possible to remove and reinstate a carport roof to be able to allow access for landscapers to get in and replace a retaining wall - then reinstate when their job is complete. Will take and upload photos later today. Roof is long run steel - looks like it overlaps and interlocks - unit was built in 1970s - not sure if this roof is original - not sure of length - but around 6 - 7 metres long. Cheers
