Gutter leak

Gutter leaks recently after a total roof + gutter replacement. The current gutter seems to repeat the previous gutter problem where it leaked into the cladding as it sits right on the edge of the exterior cladding. I told the roofer to extend the roof further out so the gutter would sit no where near the exterior to avoid leak whenever the gutter is blocked by debris coming from the bush. He assured me that it was not necessary and today the nightmare has repeated!! New roof, new gutter however it still leaks when crazy weather hits! I am reluctant to use the roofing company again and really need a reliable expert to fix the problem permanently.
