Existing deck- new roof

We have an open deck area about 10m by 4m surrounded by a good quality wood fence on 2 sides and the gable end of the house on one side. We want to cover part of the deck (approx 7mx4m) with a pergola type roof with plastic sheet laid on top utilising, if possible the fences and our gable end in order to create an outside living area.
