Some of the gib in the garage ceiling has dropped, I assume due to water damage. I’ve climbed in the roof space, and it seems that water has been getting in at the end of the gable, possibly in strong wind and rain. The attached photo shows how the tiles butt into the end of the gable, and there is no flashing.
