Our 1970's house has a pitched corrugated iron roof with a concrete chimney at the front of the house. We noticed water-stains and drips inside the house directly below where the roof meets the chimney. I have had a look at the roof and found several potential problems. Where the iron overlaps itself there is quite a gap, several nail-heads are missing and the sheet of iron that meets the chimney has rusted out at the bottom. I also think that there should possibly be another flashing on the chimney??
