Roof sealing to stop birds from nesting.

My tile iron roof is being used by all the birds in the neighbourhood for nesting - the mess that goes with it is unbelievable and then it runs down the gutters in my tank - yes I am on tank water. I need this problem fixed by sealing the holes where they nest and put bird repellent on there. Anyone that can help??
