Roof Fixing repair

This is not a big job but a necessary one. I have been told the roof needs to be checked for "fixings only" as there is no rust and yet water has been coming through the lounge roof after heavy rain storms at the end of last summer. Since the onset of winter there has been no evidence of water inside. Thoughts are that the winter rain water can no longer enter - as soon as things dry out again in summer the wood will shrink back allowing water to enter again. It is important to have this situation corrected before the onset of summer
