The roof is approximately 30 years old. It has a few pin to ten cent peice size holes on the edge of the sheets of iorn. I know that this usually means that the roof is nearing the end of it's life but the holes are only in a couple of places and not the whole roof. We are getting a wood burning fire installed this comming week and I hope that the plumber will tell me the state of the iorn where he cut's the hole for the chimney which will be near the top of a sheet. I had some quotes from a variety of trades men already some months ago now and they gave a range of suggestions and prices. I would like a current review of the situation and suggestion about what to do next with a quote of the prices for the various options.
