New roof for 1940s house

Job description

New & Replacement Metal Roof
Woolston, Christchurch

Published on 20 July 2020

My 110sqm 1940s house has a leaky old, heavily patched roof and it is time to replace. I am after quotes to replace the iron with coloursteel. It's single story but the front is L shaped if looking down from above. The corner on that front NW side is built on a slope so the foundation there at the corner is about 50-60cm higher than the rest of the building. Access otherwise is pretty good.

These guys really are super decent humans - I would have no hesitation in recommending them for anyone wanting a roofing job. Polite and friendly with really clear communication and they cleaned up after themselves so beautifully - swept up all the old rusty debris that had fallen on my decking as part of the re-roof and removed all the old roof iron. At the last minute, they also agreed to install the exterior part of a new Velux sun tunnel for me as part of the job.
