Exterior repairs - shingles above 2 box windows, some sofits and fascias replace

We have a wonderful old 1920s villa that needs some external repairs. One side of the house barely saw the sun until recently and now the shingles above a couple of the box windows need replaced. We can re-do shingles, although I would be happy to consider alternatives, as long as the repairs look clean and are waterproof. (Photos attached). Along that side of the house some of the sofits have gone soft over the years, so will need replaced. I would estimate about 5-10m. (Photos attached). There are a couple of areas of fascias needing replaced - again about 5-10m I would estimate. There are probably other areas of repair a professional will point out, but these are the ones needing done. The areas repaired will also need to be painted. Recommendations welcomed. I appreciate that the weather is changing for outside work, but we have decided to get on with these repairs this year.
