Kitchen Renovation
Wellington

Stage two of consented renovations: work to the kitchen and laundry areas (noted as “conservatory", as per architect's plans. Laundry bifold doors have been completed. Conservatory has been demolished, as per plans. * demolish existing wall between kitchen and laundry * should existing beam in kitchen ceiling be inadequate, install new beam as per architect specifications * reuse existing carcass to move and reinstall ovens, electric work as required *replace kitchen ceiling lighting with 4 x LED downlights * install (supplied) range hood above island using existing venting * move floor central heating duct ~30cm, using existing venting, make good to floorboards (original hardwood) * extend walls as per plans * remove laundry floor tiles, laundry tub, and current wall shelves * extend existing waste to be suitable for new laundry sink, and new washing machine position * install 2 x double power outlets above laundry countertop As per Kaboodle plans (attached): * install 2 x new wall cupboards to laundry * Install 2 x new base cabinets (one to include new laundry sink) to laundry *install new countertops to existing kitchen (1 x kitchen countertop, 1 x island) * install new countertop above new laundry base cabinets *replace sink and tap in kitchen with new, plumb to existing Insinkerator Note: the kitchen island will not be moved, contrary to plan
