Just putting it out there to see if this is an option : I have a 3 bed house which is in need of renovation. It has the basics (bathroom, kitchen etc) but needs finishing off. I was wondering if a builder would be prepared to take on the job in return for living rent free whilst the job is being carried out. It would mean living and working in the same location (so no fuel costs) and a home cooked meal at the end of a hard working day can be within easy reach! Just an idea I had ....... seeing if its possible. Finer details will be discussed at meeting.
