Tiled curbless (walk in) shower on concrete floor (lined with aqualine GIB and liquid waterproof membrane) with frameless glass walls has developed a leak in the bottom corner to a tiled wall with a sliding door cavity behind. Looking to remove frameless glass (stuck with silicone to tiled walls and floor), break out and remove tiles from shower floor, break and remove bottom layers of wall tiles as required. Repair all water proofing and flood test, re-tile (with similar tiles provided by owner), re-grout, reinstall frameless glass. Replace sliding door bottom guide. Alternatives including installing new shower tray over tiles also considered but preference is to remain with tiled finish. Work likely to require opening and repair of wall cavity from other side to enable sliding door guide to be replaced.
