Looking to build a cabin approx. 12m2. Cabin will be in the corner, in front of retaining walls as per photos.
I have been told by builder I might need to apply for a building consent exemption due to it being too close to boundary.
I would like to understand what I need to prepare/submit e.g. do I need an architect, and what is the process for exemption. I have looked online and it costs $515 but does not clearly state what to provide as evidence to support exemption.
Please let me know if exemption is required and your costs to assist with this exemption application.
Thanks
