The wash basin in the toilet has developed cracks over time. It's not urgent at all. it's still very much usable. Just looking for a cheap solution as it's a rented property. Rusty looking water in bathroom

Bathroom has a leaky tap producing rusty looking water. The shower filter is also dark brown and sometimes brown water comes out when you turn it on. It was also leaking but we used thread seal tape. The tap and the shower didn't seem to leak prior to the brown water.

The acrylic base has some hairline cracks, see photos. We have just moved into the property and it looks like the previous owner had a go at sealing some with bathroom sealant. My research suggests that sanding and using an epoxy system might be useful, but open to other suggestions. A building inspection didn't reveal any leaks at this stage, but it seems likely it will fail eventually if not attended to.
