The actual tradesmans work was to a good standard. Initial communication was good, but when the invoice came we had issues with the number of hours they charged vs. actual for the job. Subsequent communication wained in trying to get this sorted, and had to resort to sending in a 'full and final' cheque to my estimation as they never adjusted the account despite promises to do so. Even then it took over one month to bank the cheque [as I had confirmation that the cheque was in their offices] and I still got reminder statements sent to me for the full amount during that time.....
