Hot Water Cylinder Plumbing & Installation
New Plymouth

Site Description 1975 house on piles, easy crawl access. Walls currently exposed in bathroom and from HWC so those tasks ready to do now. Kitchen will be renovated in a couple months time so keen to do prep work for this also if possible. Plumbing Bathroom • Re-pipe and install shower diverter and spout fittings (already have methven fittings purchased) Hot water Cylinder • Remove old low-pressure hot water cylinder • Remove old wetback pipes (not currently connected but potentially have water in them) • Re-route water inlet and outlet to external connection to new mains pressure hot water heat pump • Connect inlet and outlet to new HWHP, inc pressure relief valve and drain into sewer vent (bosch compress 3000 already on site in storage and concrete pad is down) . • Install thermal lagging for all new pipes • Check all house pipes/fittings can handle upgrade to Mains pressure hot water (bathroom/HWC walls all currently exposed so inspection should be easy) Kitchen • Prep sink connection points and drain for later sink relocation Electrical Bathroom • Wire prepped for bathroom extractor fan. Hot water Cylinder • Reroute current dedicated connection to external IP rated connection to Bosch Compress with own fuse (Max bosch 3000 current is 9.8A) • Wire in heatpump HWC Kitchen • Wire prepped for rangehood install • New cable prepped from fusebox for new induction hob (next to current shacklock) – 30A?
