Plumb in toilet.

We require a toilet to be plumbed in. The old toilet cracked and leaked so has been removed. We purchased a new one however new toilet will need a breather. We have purchased a new toilet and understand the water will need to be removed from were it is in the wall. Happy to have it on the floor with a metal hose showing. We no longer want the pipe hanging out the wall which was the older breather?
