Repair kitchen tap coming loose from benchtop
Job description
Our kitchen tap has suddenly become wobbly and it appears to be that water has leaked through between tap and bench and the wood underneath has deteriorated. We have been quoted for a new benchtop but due to high demand it can't be provided for some months. Our understanding is permanent repair is not possible without replacing benchtop, however, we'd like a temporary repair done sooner to prevent further damage and have the tap usable again. Something to make the tap sturdy and seal it to prevent water leaking between tap and bench.
