Blocked toilet

Our toilet is blocked. The water rises to the top and takes hours to dissipate. There is only a bit of paper in there so it's not too grim! I think it needs a plunge but we don't have a plunger and we would love this done today if possible. I tried hot water and dish liquid multiple times, without success. We are next to the police station, at the bottom of College Hill. Thank you so much

I put the call out for an urgent toilet unblocking and Fernz Gas & Plumbing answered. They came within a couple of hours and fixed the problem immediately. Friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves too!
