Repair bedroom wall plaster #2

The original stippled plaster finish has been covered with a skim coat of plaster, at least 10 years ago. There has been some water ingress to this area, almost certainly from the roof skylight. The paint and some of the plaster skim coat has become detached from the original stippled plaster in two locations as shown on the photos. We will have new flashings fitted to the skylight this week by 29 March. Next week we would like to get the plaster skim coat redone. We have removed the loose plaster in two places as shown on the photos. We have feathered the edge of the remaining plaster to allow a good bond for new plaster.
