Patching GIB and Skirting Board

I've just had an old gas heater removed and have been left with a bit more to the patching than my gas fitter could do. The hole is just between 2 studs and needs new GIB however the original installer also cut a chuck of the skirting board out so that needs to be replaced. I can get the replacement skirting board prior to the job.

Good clean patch job. Good communication esp about the materials that would be needed so I could quickly and easily buy them ready for him to work with.
