!!!WARNNING!!! John Coetzer, from Progress Construction Limited has ripped me off!!! He is a dishonest man and he isn’t able to do the jobs he claims he can do! He promised to complete the job within 7 days. That included plaster and paint of my 60m2 unit including doors and windows. After 2 weeks I was still asking when the job was going to be completed. After 2 weeks he was still trying to complete plastering!!! John became very annoyed that I was asking why there was no progress! He accused me of being very mean to him and that I should be encouraging him and praising him so he would do even a better job!!! I started to monitor his work closely and that was even more annoying to him. I just wanted to ensure that the job was completed in time as other tradesmen were complaining that I was holding them up. I urged him to complete at least the living area so I could have kitchen installed (Open Plan). He promised that it would be completed by the deadline. When I came in the evening of the deadline day he had his partner and maybe a teen age daughter sanding manually and painting the first coat. NO it wasn’t finished! He said that he would have to come back first thing in the morning to complete the second coat. NOW I must say that that fist coat AFTER the undercoat didn’t look alright to me at all, as you can see in the images attached. There were a lot of spots where the undercoat neither the first coat covered well… the next day the paint bubbled up!!!! See on in the images!!! Now, when I came in the morning with a tradesman to install the kitchen there was no sight of John. I rang him and said why he didn’t come and he said that he had some things at home he had to do and that he would be there in about 1 hour… 2 hours later I rang him again and he was still at home… a number of calls etc… he came later in the afternoon to finish but it was too late the kitchen was in… he continued to plaster… On that day he said that he COULD’T complete the job and that he would pay me back… I asked if he could complete the plastering (which was my mistake again) and he agreed and said that he would pay some money back… I gave him the very last shot and asked he would guarantee that he would work the whole day to make sure it’s done as I had another painter who was going to start if plastering was done. He promised to me 3 times that he would see me and he would be working there the WHOLE day. I came during the day to have a look and there was no sight of John! I came at 6.30pm and there was no sight of John. I sent him a message and advised him that he wasn’t allowed on the property without a permission from me as I was advised by my lawyer. He replied to me and that I was abusing him and that he was going to come and finish the job… IT WASN’T going to be finished in 2 days but he said he would finish at night!!! Since then John hasn’t been communicating with me. He is accusing me of abusing him… I never called him any names or anything like that. All I want him is to settle with me and pay me back what I paid forward… He didn't give me any invoice or anything!!! NOW, I got 2 professional plasterers and painters to come and do an independent assessment of his craftsmanship and they both were horrified!!! They are going to write their analysis so it could be used against John Coetzer. I have taken a number of photos to prove that John Coetzer is a hoax!!! I’m filing a case against John as he has cost me at least $4,000! It’s going to be a longer journey for me but I will not allow John to rip people off!! Now, I didn’t know that the --- doesn’t have a smart system of accountability! I’m left vulnerable and they said that all they can do is to send him a message asking him to contact me… I have all: 1. the proof of my transactions, 2. and communication and the promises he made and 3. independent assessment of his workmanship All I was asking is a finished job and well done!!! Here is a small message for you John – I believe that the evil you have done to me will come back to you… Such is life… See the photos below after two weeks of work... The plasterer who is working now will have to fix John's disaster up!

"Watch out for Victor off RUSSIA he still think he can use gun and treated my familie report this incident at the police. I was three times at the house and the builders was not finished he was wasting my time. I got all the txt messages of Victor . He said it is rent house don't spent much time and materials and he can only pay me 2000 dollars. For 180 square meters for skimming and painting for this kind of work must get more than 4000 dollars. I spent hole week and weekend to get the walls straight I am proud of my trade and don't care for extra work without paying. All the neighborhood is my witness and warn me about Victor that is under paying people. I was still busy and in once he want his deposit back and treated me for builder's Crack bad reference or money back. It is very clever scam what he is doing and I am the victim. Because I refuse to pay back after materials cost me over 800 dollars. He stolen some tools . I lost job because of Victor he caused me and my families lot of stress and they don't feel anymore safe in our house he said gonna sent the Mafia of Russia. As Tradesman I just wanna do the best for my customers.Who give him the right to use Builders Crack to intimidate people.He told me after he done it before with someone else. Feel free to ask questions of this matter we must put end on this kind off people. Thanks i am busy at my new project . "
