Kitchen tiles removed and plastering

Hello, This is a two part job. 1st remove small kitchen tiles to prepare the walls for glass splashbacks in the kitchen. 2nd prepare the wall. The splashback company has informed me with the following details: "you will probably find you will need to have the gib behind the tiles repaired after the removal. To be able to provide you a warranty on your splashbacks, we need to install onto a flat,stopped and sealed surface. This is to prevent anything leeching from the walls (gib) and interfering with the painted back of the splashback." Grafton /city location with visitor car parking.
