Review

New ceilings

We have textured ceilings in 3 rooms (hallway, bathroom and dining room). Apparently it is a hard texture which is extremely unlikely to contain asbestos. We got quotes for having it removed but were told it would be very expensive and involve scraping back the texture and 4 skim coats on top. For the price quoted it would be better just to remove the old ceiling and replace with a new one so we are after new ceilings in 3 rooms, with the old ceiling removed, plastered and possible painted (we'd like a quote with and without painting). Rooms are approximately 6-8sqm, 8-10sqm and 15sqm.
