Gib stopping cracks in ceiling

We have two gib joints in our master bedroom that are not cracked but undulating - about 3m each. We also have an ensuite joint on the same level that is cracked. maybe 2.5m? we need to get them taped and plastered before the painter starts on 29th December...can you help? thanks kerry ps please provide an estimate from desciption rather than visiting
